Social and Networking Events

To compliment the technical programme, the key event for your social calendar will be the evening Evening Networking Reception, held on the first night of the conference. There are also numerous field trips being held throughout the week which aim to reflect the themes of the conference and bring the geoscience to life!

Here’s are the dates for your diary:

Tuesday 16 May – Thursday 18 May | 09.00 – 17.00

Networking Lounge P&J Live, Aberdeen

Situated in the main breakout area, this will be a dedicated space for delegates to take time away from the technical sessions and interact with other conference attendees, talk with colleagues or find a quiet comfortable space to relax.

The networking lounge will be open all day, every day throughout the EGC1 Conference.

The Networking Lounge has been kindly sponsored by:

Evening Networking Reception P&J Live, Aberdeen

Join us for the main social event at EGC1 2023 where you will have the opportunity to network with your colleagues and friends over a glass of wine at the P&J Live conference venue.

Take the opportunity to reflect and share your thoughts on day 1 of the event with fellow attendees, swap notes on those talks you weren’t able to attend and continue with engaging discussions stemming from the Net Zero Challenge Panel Discussion in relaxed and informal surroundings.
